El Tatio Geysers
This tour starts with an early departure from San Pedro de Atacama to reach the El Tatio Geysers at 4,300 metres above sea level. The aim is to arrive just in time to witness the natural spectacle of the fumaroles and bubbling mud craters at sunrise.
Ringed by the Andes, the geothermal field is an awe-inspiring sight. After taking it in, you will have breakfast with a 360° panoramic view in the middle of this extraordinary setting. The excursion continues to the Putana and Machuca wetlands, where you can spot flamingos, vicuñas, foxes and other typical altiplano wildlife.
