High in the Andes mountain range, there is a phenomenon you cannot see, but you can feel it and hear it. It is a warm current that flows down from the peaks, moving steadily across the land and wrapping the surroundings in a distinct sensation. It flows, advancing in balance and connecting every point along its path. This current is known as El Raco, and that is where our name comes from.
El Raco Experience takes that concept and turns it into a way of traveling. An experience that flows naturally, where each stage connects seamlessly with the next, avoiding interruptions, disorder or uncertainty. Just as this current flows down without pause, every trip is designed to move forward with clarity, from the initial planning all the way through to the return home.

At El Raco he works closely with our English-speaking international travelers, supporting them with bookings, sales and assistance throughout their trip. His adventurous, down-to-earth spirit reflects the way we live every experience.
Juan Carlos Jiménez
Spanish-Speaking Market Sales and Operations Executive. Calisthenics, trekking and skating make up his more active side. At El Raco he handles bookings, sales and on-the-road assistance, while also supporting our website. His meticulous way of working, his commitment and his knack for finding solutions make him an essential support for our travelers.
Francisco Sifontes
Head of the Reservations Department. A lover of the gym, cooking and music. He is in charge of coordinating logistics and looking after every detail needed for trips to run smoothly. His perfectionism, organization and dedication make it possible for every experience to begin long before arriving at the destination.
Nicole Fernández
Marketing and Digital Content Coordinator. She enjoys hiking, photography and any moment that allows her to connect with nature. We completely enjoyed our trip to the Atacama. First the arrangements were flawlessly arranged. Jose was very attentive responding to all our concerns. From our flight to our accommodation at the Hotel Dunas( my only problem was the internet connection, although the management tried very hard to make it work) Apart from that our stay was wonderful, the tours were amazing, we did the astronomical tour that words cannot describe as well as the Valley of the moon tour. We will definitely recommend using El Raco…..

Hola. La experiencia fue magnífica en todo sentido. En los traslados, en el hotel vientos del sur, la atención excelente. En los traslados el señor que nos llevaba y la guía, excelente en todo sentido. La termas geometricas una experiencia inolvidable, con nieve y lluvia, lo que esperábamos que pasara. El tour full day Huilo Huilo, una experiencia fenomenal, el clima lluvioso, nada que decir. Quedamos muy conformé yo y mi esposa con todo. Desde los traslados, hotel y tours. El desayuno del hotel, impecable.
Una experiencia maravillosa vivida en Rapa Nui, desde de la organización del viaje hasta el final del mismo. La logística y programación de los tour permiten visitar los lugares icónicos de la Isla con comodidad en tiempo eficiente y con información histórica entregada por guías muy profesionales,atentos y preocupados. La experiencia de buceo muy segura y personalizada. El alojamiento excelente, bien equipado, mucha privacidad, limpio, ambiente familiar y tranquilo. Espero repetir la experiencia pronto.
