SAMPLE ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival in Talca (bus terminal or train station)
Welcome: You will be met at the bus terminal or train station, where someone will be waiting with a sign showing your first and last name.
Transport: Transfer from the bus terminal or train station to the accommodation.
Accommodation: Check-in at the accommodation. If you arrive before check-in time you can leave your luggage and use the accommodation’s facilities until your room is ready.
Day 2: Winter ascent to Mirador Piedras Blancas
Step into a route full of beauty and calm on a scenic trek of medium-low difficulty in the heart of the Maule. With gentle gradients and a relaxed pace, this 3-hour walk takes you through landscapes that will stay with you.
The path leads first to the Mirador Valle de Vilches, a privileged spot that reveals the grandeur of the valley with its lush green and the harmony of the natural world. We continue to the Mirador Cerro El Morrillo, where the mountains rise before you, offering a unique perspective on their commanding presence.
Further on we reach the Mirador Cerro Tres Cuernos, where the view stretches to the horizon and you can see how sky and mountains meet. To finish, we visit the Piedras Tacitas archaeological site, a place steeped in history that connects us with the ancient cultures who left their mark on this land.
This trek is more than a walk: it is a journey through spectacular scenery and an encounter with the history and nature of the Maule. An experience not to be missed.

Day 3: Winter tour of the Alto Maule
Explore the most iconic landscapes of the Alto Maule on a scenic route designed for all levels — ideal for anyone who wants to enjoy nature while learning why this magnificent territory is worth protecting.
The trip begins at the spectacular Laguna del Maule, a body of crystal-clear water ringed by mountains that mirror the sky and create a setting of complete calm. From there we head to the Mirador Monjes Blancos, where extraordinary rock formations stand like guardians of the landscape, offering unmatched views of the Andes.
Continuing along the route, we reach the impressive Saltos del Maule, a series of waterfalls that combine power and beauty in a natural spectacle that leaves you speechless. Finally, the route takes us to the enigmatic Muela del Diablo, a rock formation whose sheer presence has made it a symbol of the region.

Day 4: Snowshoe trek in Los Cóndores Valley
Set off on an unforgettable experience exploring Los Cóndores Valley, a renowned geosite on the Pehuenche Pass. This scenic, accessible trek invites you to discover a unique natural setting where the grandeur of the mountains and the calm of the landscape combine into an unforgettable adventure.
The route begins in the heart of the valley, where the impressive rock walls that made this place famous rise up. The Gran Pared sector greets us with its commanding height, a paradise for climbers and geology lovers. We continue to the Pared Talca sector, another gem of this geosite, where the textures and colours of the rock tell stories thousands of years old.
As we go on we come to the Pozón del Gringo, an oasis of calm surrounded by magnificent scenery. Here the clear water invites a reflective pause while the setting wraps you in a sense of peace and connection with nature.
Los Cóndores Valley is more than a destination: it is an encounter with the immensity of the Andes, where every step reveals another corner of beauty and wonder.

The route begins with a step back into history, visiting the Piedras Tacitas archaeological site, thousand-year-old traces of the cultures that lived in this region. We continue to the enigmatic Roca Piedra del Mono, a one-of-a-kind formation that seems to tell its own stories, carved by time.
The climb takes us to the spectacular Mirador Piedras Blancas, a viewpoint with striking views over the Vilches Valley and its landscapes full of life and colour. Further on we cross the Sector El Plateo, a corner where nature shows its splendour in every detail.
Finally, the journey ends at the Summit of Cerro El Peine, a place that repays every ounce of effort with an unmatched view of the mountains and valleys that make up this region. This climb is more than a day in the mountains: it combines history, nature and adventure, and leaves a lasting mark on everyone who does it.
