➜ Osorno Volcano and Petrohué Falls
The Osorno Volcano and Petrohué Falls excursion allows you to explore some of the most iconic landscapes of the Los Lagos Region, visiting the surroundings of Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, the imposing Osorno Volcano and the famous Petrohué Falls, in southern Chile. This day combines nature, volcanoes, lakes and viewpoints in a full-day experience from Puerto Varas.
The excursion begins with departure from your accommodation in Puerto Varas, bordering Lago Llanquihue (Llanquihue Lake) along the southern shore, while observing landscapes associated with German colonization and local agriculture. The route then enters Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, where the Petrohué Falls are visited, recognized for their turquoise waters flowing over ancient volcanic lava formations.
During the day, you will also contemplate Lago Todos los Santos (Todos los Santos Lake) and afterwards continue toward the base of Osorno Volcano, one of the most emblematic volcanoes in southern Chile. In the Ensenada area, there will be a stop for an optional lunch, with local gastronomic alternatives available. If weather conditions allow it, there is the possibility of taking the chairlift (optional) to enjoy panoramic views of the surroundings. Once the experience is finished, the return to the accommodation in Puerto Varas takes place.
➜ Todos los Santos Lake Navigation and Villa Peulla
The navigation on Lago Todos los Santos (Todos los Santos Lake) and Villa Peulla allows you to enjoy a day of connection with nature in one of the most representative landscapes of northern Chilean Patagonia, sailing across the majestic Lago Todos los Santos (Todos los Santos Lake) until reaching Villa Peulla, an ecological village nestled in the mountains inside Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, in the Los Lagos Region.
The excursion begins with departure from your accommodation in Puerto Varas, following the scenic route along Lago Llanquihue (Llanquihue Lake), with panoramic views of the Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes. Afterwards, you arrive at Petrohué, the boarding point for the navigation on Lago Todos los Santos (Todos los Santos Lake), whose emerald waters are surrounded by the Osorno, Puntiagudo and Tronador volcanoes.
Upon arriving at Villa Peulla, you will have time to explore the surroundings at your own pace and have lunch in the area. You may also take part in optional ecotourism activities such as hiking, canopy, horseback riding or photo safaris, subject to availability. Once the experience is finished, the return navigation takes place and afterwards the return to the accommodation in Puerto Varas.
➜ Tour Around Lago Llanquihue
The tour around Lago Llanquihue (Llanquihue Lake) allows you to explore one of the most attractive scenic circuits in southern Chile, visiting different towns surrounding Lago Llanquihue (Llanquihue Lake), in the Los Lagos Region. This full-day experience combines heritage, lakeside landscapes, traditional architecture and local life on a route of approximately 186 kilometers from Puerto Varas.
The excursion begins with departure from your accommodation in Puerto Varas, then continues toward different cities and towns around the lake. During the day, Llanquihue is visited, where you can explore the waterfront and pier, as well as observe local birds, and afterwards Frutillar, one of the best-known towns for its German heritage, its waterfront, the Teatro del Lago (Lake Theater), the Museo Colonial Alemán (German Colonial Museum) and its emblematic churches.
The route continues to Puerto Octay and then through areas such as Las Cascadas and Ensenada, where there will be a stop for a free lunch, with options available on site. Afterwards, the return to the accommodation in Puerto Varas takes place, ending the experience.
