Ski or Snowboard Lessons on Villarrica Volcano
Enjoy an unforgettable day in the snow and discover the magic of gliding down the slopes of the mighty Villarrica Volcano. In the heart of the Araucanía, we take you to the Pillán Mountain Centre in the Juncalillo area, at 1,200 m above sea level, to learn or improve your skiing or snowboarding in picture-postcard surroundings.
The experience starts with a transfer from your accommodation in Pucón to the mountain centre. In around 40 minutes you will be surrounded by snow, forest and spectacular views. Once you have your gear, you will have a private lesson with a certified instructor, tailored to your level and goals. Whether it is your first time on snow or you want to sharpen your technique, this activity is designed for you.
With El Raco Experience, skiing is not just about learning a technique: it is about enjoying the moment, breathing clean air and connecting with nature on one of Chile’s most iconic mountains. We take care of everything so all you have to do is enjoy it.

- 08:30 – Pick-up at your accommodation in Pucón
- 09:10 – Arrival at the Pillán mountain centre
- 09:15 – Fitting your equipment at the rental area
- 09:30 – Boarding the chairlift
- 10:00 – Arrival at the Mirador restaurant and instructor allocation
- 10:00 to 12:00 – Lesson (1 or 2 hours depending on the option), then free time
- 15:50 – Meet at the car park for the return trip
- 16:00 – Departure back to Pucón
- 17:00 – Arrival at your accommodation in Pucón

We completely enjoyed our trip to the Atacama. First the arrangements were flawlessly arranged. Jose was very attentive responding to all our concerns. Hello. The experience was magnificent in every way. The service at the Vientos del Sur hotel was excellent, both during transfers and at the transfers. The driver and the guide were both excellent. The Termas Geometricas hot springs were an unforgettable experience, with snow and rain, which is exactly what we expected. The Huilo Huilo full-day tour was phenomenal, despite the rainy weather. My wife and I were very satisfied with everything, from the transfers and hotel to the tours. The hotel breakfast was impeccable.
